Adobe Illustrator CC's

Adobe Illustrator is a vector drawing and shape building programme used by  graphic designers and illustrators to create graphics that need to be scalable.

It’s perfect for creating logos and line art illustrations, signs, vehicle decals, business stationery and labels.

I’ve ben using Adobe Illustrator since the early 1990’s, but as the programme has evolved over the years, new features have been brought in. Its also very easy to find yourself stuck in a same ol’ same ol’ rut in working commercially, so following these challenges helps me keep my imagination firing and my skillsets fresh. I love them!

Seamless Patterns

This little boat design I created back in February seemed just perfect as a pattern design, especially with summer around the corner. I then popped it on a white dress image with a multiply blend mode to show how it might look on a dress.

Adobe Photoshop CC's

Most people have heard of photoshop. It’s basically an image editing software, and in my work over the years I’ve used it to recolour and crop images for printed media such as brochures and posters, and in the earlier days in my signwriting career, present visuals for council planning applications, with these challenges I have enjoyed pushing its boundaries to new levels.
